As founder of the global furniture brand Stellar Works, Yuichiro grew the company from its inception as a specialized furniture design atelier, into an international organization with more than 400 employees and projects across the globe. His hands-on approach to teamwork including collaborations with luxury hotels, luxury retail, and world class designers has solidified his position as a creative and strategic leader in the global design and hospitality community.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

An agile leader harnessing the talents of diverse creative teams to develop future forward concepts, products, and built spaces. Amy excels in driving project’s full process from ideation, to prototyping to rollout. She has enjoyed empowering both luxury and mass market businesses to evolve and scale responsibly. As Starbucks China`s Concepts Director, she leads the design strategy and creation of new store concepts to enable rapid growth and to establish a premium positioning. At Cartier Japan, she lead a first of its kind growth trajectory, overseeing design, construction, and costs for the store portfolio including multiple experiential flagships.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

A global executive leader previously serving as the CEO for Graco Japan K.K., and Nordson K.K. In diverse executive leadership roles, Shigeru transformed organizations to realize monumental growth and revenue, while building a sustainable and scalable company infrastructure and culture. His unique global experience includes an MBA from Boston University and international management roles at Uniden in Beijing, Air France, and Sanyo Electronic Co. Ltd.

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

A lifetime entrepreneur and pioneer in Japan`s surfing and snowboarding community. Tadaaki brings deep experience in importing and exporting, having established Japan`s first iconic surf shop on the Japan Seaside. He also lead the importing and introduction of the snowboard in Japan while creating snowboard training schools. In addition, he brings experience in operations and franchising, having managed up to 40 restaurants at one time.

BRAND STRATEGIST

Judy Dobias has a career in design communications spanning 25 years. Originally from Canada, she founded her own agency, Camron, which embraced the world of design. The company soon became recognized as the leading firm globally. The London base expanded to the US, with offices in New York, San Francisco and LA. The US client portfolio became more than design brands, and drew attention to some of the leading companies from Pepsi, McKinsey to Airbnb. This was the first time a communications agency conveyed that using design was integral to the success of a business. She acts as an marketing advisor with an aim to use design and creativity as a point of difference.

STORYTELLER, WRITER

Catherine Shaw is a leading writer, editor, specialising in architecture and design. She has written and contributed to over ten books, including award-winning monographs on art collector and designer Alan Chan, and on architect William Lim's Asian design philosophy. She has also authored books on architect André Fu, on Turkish interior designer Zeynep Fadıllıoğlu, and on Beijing-based OPEN Architecture's most significant cultural projects across China.
